I started weaning this weekend. I'm leaving for Europe in two weeks, and besides, it's just time for this kiddo. He's not as interested and I end up feeding and pumping each time since he seems to have better things to do. As he is on solids and bottles, he's made the transition well.
But nobody told me it would suck this much. It sucks emotionally, but it sucks physically even more. I can't lift my arms :(
Anyone have any pain remedies? I'm only in 36 hours so I guess I have a few days left?

Are you stopping cold or weaning him out? My suggestion is to let him nurse a little here and a little there...
Good luck! Sorry, I've got no remedies. I've heard that wrapping the girls up tight help with the pain.
For some reason, I never had issues when weaning. But I worked with a few people who did.
You can take Tylenol and Advil for the pain, and the more support you put on them the better. Like try wearing two sports bras, or I've even heard of wrapping with an ace bandage. Anything that's tight will help.
And like Yeimy said, nursing a little, or pumping a little, just til comfortable will help.
Also, if you go on birth control, the hormones will help dry you up naturally. That was how I accidentally dried up with Noah. My doctor didn't put me on a mini-pill made for breastfeeding, she put me on a normal two-hormone pill and I dried up in like a week and a half.
I've got nothing. :(
Good luck!
I stopped cold turkey with both pregnancies. I wore tight sports bra and would "rub" any knots out so I didn't get any infection. I would pump for maybe 30 sec if I was too engorged but I avoided letting C latch back on just in case he kept my supply up. Took about a week, but worked.
Hope you made it through it OK. It does hurt, and I don't have near the girls you do. ;)
