WOW! I was so confused...

My posts and planned post just "went away!" for awhile and I was worried I was crazy there for a bit, but everything (minus the comments that were made) are back. Maybe the comments will come back? If you commented, comment again because I didn't get to read them!!!

Not having internet sucks! I have so much to blog about! Things will be better this summer when I am working at the pool and have access to WiFi there.

I'm in Denver right now with my Seniors on their Senior Trip. We were supposed to see a Rockies game today but it was rained out and postponed until tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will go to Elitch Gardens in the morning and catch the game in the afternoon before heading home. Otherwise we drove a long way for the kids to hang out at the mall today like they did since we didn't have any other plans. You know what they say...the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray. Name THAT author. And no, it's not Steinbeck. He borrowed it.

So I'll get a bunch of posts up to run for the next little bit and catch everyone up!

I had feathers put in my hair with my students today at the mall. I don't know if it's 'cool' everywhere else, but it's really popular out here! It's fun!

We went to Denver for our Senior Trip too. Did Elitch's, the zoo and the natural history museum (?) and ate at Red Lobsters and Casa Bonita. It was way fun. Hope your kids aren't as wild as we were. ;-) I could probably tell those stories now. Pretty sure the statue of limitations is up. LMAO

My senior trip was a bit wild. All but a one person who went on the trip were on probation or suspended for up to 3 days after we returned! Ooops...but oh well, we had fun!

I hope the snow/rain stopped so you could have some fun - it doesn't look very promising here!

So I had to look up the quote and came up with:
The best-laid schemes o' mice an' men
Gang aft agley,
An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain,
For promis'd joy!
by Robert Burns!
Thanks for providing a learning moment!

I was all set to tell you that I hadn't seen the feathers around here at all, but then at the hair salon last night lots of the girls had them!
